This is what most fishermen dream about! But Bernie Larsen gets up early early morning hours and catches ‘em. This rainbow beauty weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces. A number of big ones have been caught by fishermen in this area recently. The “one that got away” was the one hooked by Larry Wilson. Larry fought the big fish close for two hours, and both the fish and man were considerably spent, but the fish won. It broke the line and was off. The small gallery of onlookers who watched the fight estimated that the fish weighed 15 pounds.—Photo by Humphrey.
