It is astounding, ironic, and utterly despicable that people we’ve elected — and whom we rely on to serve the public interest — are actively working to undermine trust in our government. These are people like Roger Skraba and Pete Stauber, who are too cowardly to condemn Trump’s pathetic claims of a “stolen” election.

A call for peace

As our entire nation races toward the imagined “Finish Line” of the upcoming presidential election, atrocities continue in the Middle East at an alarming scale, with no end in sight. We’ve spent obscene levels of campaign dollars that vanish into an abyss of ignorant, fear-mongering, foul, and hateful words, while millions of people in war torn regions of the world face horrific levels of devastation and mass starvation.

Chamber Music Up North!

The North Shore Music Association kicks off November with Chamber Music Up North! The concert offers a unique combination of Scandinavian folk and classical contemporary music, performed by Third Coast Chamber Collective and guests Erin Aldridge, Irina Mueller, Paul Dahlin, and Ensemble REPRISE. The exciting repertoire combines traditional Swedish fiddle music and Danish, Norwegian, and Finnish folk music arranged for a classical string quartet.
