New barber in town
When Chuck Petek hung up his clippers a few years ago and took down his barber pole, the City of Grand Marais was left without a full-time barber. Yes, we have plenty of hair stylists, but not a traditional barber.

On October 10, the Pincushion Trails were the site of the 2024 Polar League cross country running championships. The course, a challenging 2.6-kilometer trail for the junior high or an even more challenging trail of 5 kilometers for the older runners, was set against the backdrop of the beautiful Pincushion Mountains.
