Why I am not voting for Trump

All my life, the presidential election was between two people whose policies were for the good of the U.S. citizens. Then “The Donald” came along and took us down that horrible black rabbit hole. I knew we were in trouble when he immediately made fun of a disabled man at the Cleveland rally. Who would do such a thing? Then, to our horror, he “won” that election, but not by the vote of the people. That went to Hillary.

Stop the name-calling

In a recent Letter to the Editor titled 'Stop the name calling,' the writer focuses on the former president's name-calling and references that most people grow out of this stage by fifth grade, pointing to her experience as a former teacher. A retired teacher from Minnesota is running for a high office in government and must not have learned this lesson as he continues to call his opponents names.
