Local food support is available through the Cook County Food Shelf

Sometimes, situations arise, such as unexpected medical bills, reduced work hours, or even unemployment. In these times, the Cook County Food Shelf, a product of our community's generosity, is here to help with a box of nutritious food for three days, available only once per month. We are an emergency food shelf, designed to provide immediate support in Cook County. However, it's important to note that the food shelf is not intended to be used regularly to stretch a family's budget. We are here because of the generosity of others in the community.
