County Board holds busy meeting

Klobuchar, Stauber Introduce Legislation to Improve Mail Delivery in Northern Minnesota

U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Representative Pete Stauber (R-MN) announced the introduction of the Rural Mail Delivery Improvement Act. This legislation would require the United States Postal Service (USPS) to implement all of the recommendations made by the Office of Inspector General (OIG) following theiraudit of the Bemidji Post Office, which uncovered operational problems at the facility.

Kaleb Berka qualifies for the state track meet in the triple jump

Despite the challenges of running a 200-meter anchor relay legs and the open 200 and 400 meters, Kaleb Berka, a junior, showed remarkable resilience. Sporting a blister on his foot, he pushed himself to the triple jump, determined to give it his all. Even though he didn't take all his jumps and felt like he had done his best, this wasn't his day.
