Baseball team falls to Mountain Iron

One big swing changed the trajectory of the game, a game that featured the Cook County boys' varsity baseball team in their Tuesday, May 28, match against Mountain Iron-Buhl. Despite the Cook County boys' varsity baseball team taking a commanding 4-0 lead in the first inning and holding Mountain Iron-Buhl scoreless through four innings, the Rangers' one big inning was enough to secure a victory.

Girls on the Run hold practice 5k run

Girls on the Run held their practice 5k run on Sunday, May 19th on the Gitchi-Gami State Trail. Fifteen of the twenty-two participants along with their running buddies and coaches started and finished a fun run at Cut Face Creek Wayside.

BRIAN LARSEN An always tough Esko team claimed the top spot in the boys' competition at the Polar League Conference track meet, while our Vikings, with their unwavering spirit, secured a commendable sixth place with 46 points out of ten schools. The Esko girls also showed their mettle, clinching the first position, while our Vikings girls, with their determination, secured the tenth spot with 27 points.
