I had never heard of Ernie Cuneo before I picked up The Invisible Spy from the new books shelf at Grand Marais public library. I am glad I know of his work now, and faithful readers will learn why they might be glad, too. The subtitle of the book is Churchill’s Rockefeller Center Spy Ring and America’s First Secret Agent of World War II. The award-winning author is Thomas Maier, also an award-winning journalist and TV producer.
