As temperatures rise and gardens bloom, Second Harvest Northland is highlighting the importance of fresh produce supply at its food bank and food shelves across the region.
Bryn Fitzgerald-Wells, the daughter of Robin Wells and Kathryn Fitzgerald, Grand Marais, made the Spring 2025 Dean’s List at St. Olaf College. The Dean’s List is a scholarly award for students who demonstrate academic excellence and have earned a GPA of 3.75 or above and completed at least three credits for that semester.

Meeting on July 9, the Grand Marais City Council approved the Arrowhead Animal Rescue service contract for the animal pound, which is located in the Cedar Grove Business Park, but is not yet completed and open.
