With cool temperatures (low 60s) and no rain, conditions for the Tofte Trek 5-mile run were about as good as could be expected. That doesn't mean, however, that there wasn't plenty of mud. One woman finisher told her friend, 'I don't know how it's possible, but it seemed to get muddier as I ran uphill.'
