Girls fall to North Woods

The Cook County High School girl’s volleyball team lost to the North Woods volleyball team in three straight games, 8-25, 16-25, 14-25. The match was played at home in the Pam Taylor gymnasium on Tuesday, September 26.

Cross Country team performs well at Grand Rapids Invitational

The North Shore Storm cross country team traveled to Grand Rapids to compete in the Grand Rapids Invitational held September 19. Head Coach April Walhstrom said, “We had our varsity kids do some pacing to the others to help them run faster times. Lots of kids had fun with that.”

Volleyball team beats Northeast Range, falls to Two Harbors

After playing their first six games on the road the Cook County High school Viking volleyball team took the floor at home on Thursday, September 14 against the Two Harbors Agates. Game 1, the Agates got an early lead and kept a lead of about six-eight points through most of the match with the Vikings losing 25-16.
