

New rules for adult use recreational cannabis take effect August 1
Starting August 1, 2023, anyone 21 and older will be able to possess or transport two ounces of cannabis flower, and up to eight ounces of cannabis concentrates. Adults will also be able to keep up to two pounds of adultuse cannabis flower in their place of residence. A person can possess up to 800 milligrams of edible THC, the active ingredient in cannabis.

North Shore Health (NSH) in Grand Marais announced that they have successfully launched their new virtual hospitalist services with provider, Horizon Virtual. Until recently, Sawtooth Mountain Clinic (SMC) provided inpatient, swing bed and observation services to NSH patients.
