REASON
From ages two to 77, nearly 2,000 cyclists will compete in the 14th annual Lutsen 99er bicycle race this weekend. Cyclists will peddle the back roads, ATV and snowmobile trails, and single and double track trails as they challenge themselves over beautiful but challenging terrain. For the racers taking part in the Lutsen 99er, they will climb over 5,000 feet. Racers, both experienced and inexperienced, have a plethora of events to choose from, catering to all levels of fitness and skill, including the 99-, 59-, 45-, or 29-mile races.
