Krishna Woerheide of Lutsen earns University of Nebraska- Lincoln degree
On Sunday afternoon, May 18, 2025, members of Life in Christ Lutheran Church gathered with shovels and joy to break ground on a new church building that will serve the congregation and community for generations to come.
Cook County High School’s Envirothon team not only placed eighth overall in the Minnesota State Envirothon championships, but also excelled in the oral competition, securing the second position. Their communication skills and confidence were truly impressive.

This year’s legislative session was unlike any other. For the first time in modern history, we began with an evenly divided State Senate with 33 Democrats and 33 Republicans, forcing both parties to come to the table, share power, and govern together.
