Molly Lafreniere of Grand Marais (55604) has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s (SNHU) Spring 2025 President’s List. The spring terms run from January to May.
Hunter Rex, a standout performer, led the boys’ track team with a throw of 129 feet, securing first place in the discus at the conference track meet on Wednesday, May 15. Equally impressive was Amber Theiner’s third-place finish in the 400 meters, marking her as the top individual finsiher for the girls.

Good news for Lake and Cook County youth. Thanks to a generous fund established by Gary and Betty Zinter, Silver Bay, scholarships are available to registered Concordia Language Village campers attending any one-week or two-week youth program, provided they are from Cook or Lake County.
